Celebrating International Women's Day

Did you know, women represent over 46% of our Surf Life Saving Queensland membership? Including our upcoming young nippers, we have over 220 female members at Coolum Beach SLSC.

A lot our our Club's progress that has been achieved over the years is due to the pioneering efforts of our female members

Our amazing women participate in all areas of club life from patrolling, surf sports, committee membership, as well as mentoring our youth.

We announce just this week the appointment of Gail K as our first female Deputy President and Kathy S as Secretary.

We recognise and celebrate all our remarkable women!

Happy International Women’s Day to all our past and present lifesaving members and all the wonderful women in our community

It takes a lot of money to run a surf lifesaving club; from the equipment needed on the beach (vehicles, boards, IRBs, first aid kits, defibrillators etc) to administration and training to facilitate patrolling.

Coolum Beach SLSC Nippers

Does your child want to become a Nipper?

Looking for a fun summer sport where your kids will learn essential surf safety skills, gain confidence in the ocean, and meet new friends?

Coolum Nippers is the answer! Nippers run from the September school holidays to February/March and is open to kids from 5 to 12 yrs.

Not only will they learn surf safety and what surf lifesaving is all about, but also have the opportunity to compete in carnivals and have mid-week training to improve their skills.
