Surf Life Saver Profile of the Week - 1

So lets get deep and meaningful straight up:
Q- How long have you been in Coolum Surf Life Saving Club and what  motivated you to volunteer your time?
A-Officially, 3 months. I’ve spent a lot of time there as my dad is a member and I thought it’s about time I legally had a hot shower (NEEK!!)

Q-Is your experience so far what you thought it would be?
A-Yes. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and I’m excited to be a part of the surf club 
On a lighter side:

Q-Where did you grow up? (Assuming you’ve grown up)
A-Most of my child hood and teenage years were spent on Eyre Peninsula in south Australia. We lived in Tumby Bay, Point Lincoln and on a farm. I left home at 18 and moved to Queenstown in New Zealand

Q-What’s the best job you’ve every had?
A-(In case my boss reads this) working for Viv at Stella Rosa Coolum. I’ve had some really cool jobs working in great places, but the best would have to be guiding at Mt Cook in NZ where I skippered a boat taking tourist out to see the glacier. I had never driven a boat before and it was a case of “It’s not what you know but who you know”. In November I will be going back for my 5^th Season

Q-Any nicknames?
A-“NEEK” and “Party Queen of Queenstown NZ” (Unfortunately as her Dad, I have had this confirmed by her friends)

Q-Any Hobbies?
A-Surfing, snowboarding, card and board games, patrolling (just kidding)
 
Q-Favourite Music/Musician/Band
A-My Music taste is eclectic
 
Q-Can you cook and what’s your favourite dish to prepare?
A-No. I am the Queen of jaffles though
(I know she is actually a very good cook when she wants to be)
 
Q-Final &  Life defining Question…. Pineapple on Pizza, Yes or No??
A-Yes (Yayy!)
