IRB State Titles 2021

Published: August 06, 2021

The IRB State Titles were held on the weekend at Mooloolaba. On day one of the competition the Coolum team started off well making it through the heats in the Open Surf, Teams and 35+ events and into the semi’s before COVID news hit. This forced the State Titles into a limited event schedule and cancellation of a majority of events. The Australian IRB titles have since been cancelled again due to COVID bringing the IRB competition season to an end. While it was shame to see this cap off the 2021 competition season the IRB team would like acknowledge and the thank the club for their support and the officials who assisted in all competition events for the season.

Support Coolum Surf Club

Not ready to become part of Coolum Surf Club but still want to help?

It takes a lot of money to run a surf lifesaving club; from the equipment needed on the beach (vehicles, boards, IRBs, first aid kits, defibrillators etc) to administration and training to facilitate patrolling.

So if you can't join us, support us through one of the following options.

Coolum Beach SLSC Nippers

Does your child want to become a Nipper?

Looking for a fun summer sport where your kids will learn essential surf safety skills, gain confidence in the ocean, and meet new friends?
