Well done Red Caps! Coolum Beach SLSC won six gold medals, four silver and five bronze.

GOLD Medallists:

• Linda Barnes & Jodie Waring: 40-44 Female Board Rescue: 
• Jodie Waring: 50-59 Female Short Board Riding
• Bruce Dunne: 60-69 Male Short & Malibu Long Board Riding

• Lachlan Andrews: U19 male short Board Riding
• Jake Harris: 30-39 Male Short & Malibu Long Board Riding
• Jodie Waring: 50-59 Female Malibu Long Board Riding

 

BRONZE Medallists

• Linda Barnes: 40-44 Ocean 2km swim:  
• Jodie Waring: Open Female Malibu Long Board
• Jodie Waring50-54 Female Board Race
• Sandra Valstar-Mersmans: 60-69 Female Short & Malibu Long Board Riding

 

Cooper Waring came close to a medal, with fourth place in the Open Male Malibu Long Board. The same fate was for David Stebbing, Jake Harris, Kirk Millson and  Delaney Rowe in the 140 Male beach relay.

Well done to Kye Atkinson, Bruce Dunne, Anthony Waring, David Stebbing, Kirk Millson, Basil Caffery and Paul Gallager who placed fifth and sixth in events, accumulating points for the overall club's acheivement. 

 

Thanks to officials, SLSA, team managers, our sports coach, admin, our Surf Sports Officer and the MC, first aid volunteers, participant's family and those who supported.
