All new Nippers families must complete the online Membership for their Nipper and Parent/Guardian (Register for Nippers below) by closing date 1 November 2019.
Before registering your child for Nippers, please take a minute to consider these very important points:
Nippers is not a swimming skills program. For the safety of all nippers and volunteers, there is an expectation that all participants will have an existing level of age-appropriate swimming competency before joining Nippers. Your child will enjoy the benefits of Nippers a lot more if they can swim and are confident in the water.
Important - We are making a change to the age nippers can join this season. If your child is 5 on 30th September 2019 they are welcome to sign up as a green cap this season.

To provide a safe environment for our nippers we ask that each parent, relative, or adult who will attend nippers gets a Working With Children Blue Card. The form can be downloaded here -

Alternatively, we will have copies of the Blue Card form at the Information and Sign-On session or you can pick one up from our club admin. There is no cost for Blue Card application.

Please bring original copies of identification documents so they can be sighted and returned.
To complete a new Nipper registration you will need the following paperwork for each Nipper and any parent/guardian who will be on the beach with the Nipper at any time during the Nipper season.

* Parents/caregivers must become members of the Coolum Beach SLSC for their child/children to join the Nippers. The minimum requirement is Associate Membership status and the cost of this is included with Nipper membership fees.
** All parents/caregivers must hold a current Positive Notice Blue Card. Application for this card for volunteers is FREE for Nipper parents/caregivers through the Lifesaving Administration Office.
