What SLS Awards are available?
We encourage new members as well as our existing members to obtain further awards to ensure each patrol team is as skilled as possible when patrolling
on our beach.
Some of the awards available are:
- BM - Bronze Medallion ( Cert II in Public Safety - Aquatic Rescue)
- FA - First Aid AID
- IRBC - IRB Crewman
- SMIRBD - Silver Medallion IRB Driver
- SMBBM - Silver Medallion Beach Management
- 4WD - 4WD Induction
- ROC - Radio Operators Certificate
- SRC - Surf Rescue Certificate
- ART - Advanced Resuscitation Techniques AID

- First check to see if any upcoming training courses and register your interest, OR
- If no upcoming courses, contact the Admin Office to register your interest and add yourself to a waitlist.
