Many members participate in competition throughout the year to maintain their fitness and lifesaving skills. The club competes successfully from local to national levels in various categories of Surf Sports ranging from Beach, Water and Rescue events through to Surfboats and IRBs.

Each year around September the Coolum Beach Nippers commence their season of Surf Awareness and Training. Each year many of the Nippers also compete in local, state and national surf lifesaving competitions. Ages start from 7 years old as at 30th September. Click Here for more information.
