NIPPER NEWS

SURFS DEFINITELY UP! Unfortunately all Australia Day celebrations and Nipper activities had to be cancelled last Sunday as a result of the wild and windy weather conditions.  I hope that you have all managed to stay dry as out thoughts turn to those families who have been significantly affected.  Hopefully the conditions will have improved by this weekend so that we can get back on the beach and into the water.  All the best to our U8-U10 Nippers who are competing in the Branch Titles at Redcliife on Saturday 2 February.

Nippers in on for U11-U14 age groups only on Sunday 3 February 2013.

U11-U14 with David at 5pm Tuesday
U13-U14 with Jobbo at 6am Thursday
U13-U14 with Jobbo at 6am Saturday

CARNIVAL NEWS
U8-U10 Branch Titles in on at Redcliffe on Saturday 2 February - GOOD LUCK TO ALL OUR COMPETITORS.
U11-U14 Branch Champs is on at Dicky Beach on 9-10 February - NOMINATIONS NOW CLOSED.
U11-U14 Junior State Champs is on at Hervey Bay 1-3 March.

The Junior Activities Chairman and Committee are elected annually at the Nipper AGM to run the Nipper Program each year.
The Committee generally consists of the;

• Junior Activities Chairman (Nipper President) who is also a member of the senior club Management Committee
• Deputy President,
• Secretary,
• Tresurer,
• Water Safety Coordinator and;
• Other positions at the discretion of the JAC.
