It was a superb day on Maroochydore Beach with the Red Caps taking to the sand in the Branch Championships. Coolum ended up on the podium with five gold medals.

Several other competitors gained points for the club including Isabelle O 6th in Flags, Under 11 Girls Relay 6th, U13 Girls Relay 4th, U13 Male Beach
Relay 5th.
The following competitors also gained qualification to the State Championships in March
1 and 2 km run: Jake S (4th), William C (5th), Robert A (1st), Tate A (8th), James C (5th), Rory M (7th)
