Hi All,

It is hard to believe that another season has drawn to a close. I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to every member for your efforts during the season.

You can all proudly say that we kept Coolum Beach safe with no lives lost. Our 246 patrolling members completed 10,275 hours of patrols and managed 63,500 visitors to our beach.

At a club level we have kicked a few goals…

• We are now debt free
  
• Strong surf sports program with great participation and medal winning performances at Branch, State and Aussies
  
• Ongoing investment in patrol and member gear
  
• Increased number of awards with 25 new bronze members
  
• A great result from our Summer Surf Girl (Tazma) and her hard working team raising over $24,000 in funds to help keep the beach safe
  

As we look towards season 2017-18 and further towards our centenary season in 2019 your feedback is important. 

Once again many thanks for season 2016-17, enjoy the off-season and look forward to seeing you on the beach next season.
