Last week our club members along with the entire states volunteer lifesavers were involved in the annual collection week renamed “Support our Savers”.
Club Spirit
Thanks very much to our many members who accepted some wonderful donations from the public from Brookside Shopping Centre in Brisbane to the Eumundi Markets and Coles and Woolies in Coolum.
Not only club stalwarts like Life Members Paul and Bruce and others who flew the clubs flag at Eumundi Markets, but also the clubs Surf Boat Rowers in Brisbane and Surf Sports competitors along with the Nippers in Coolum all put their hands up to spread the word of surf awareness and allow appreciative members of the public to give generously to our club so we can continue to provide the vital service of patrolling between the flags at Coolum Beach.
The funds raised go directly to our club and help us retain our club's financial funding.

A massive thanks to all our members who volunteered their time and of course a huge thanks to all those who donated to the cause with all monies raised coming back to the Coolum Beach SLSC for vital lifesaving equipment.
