Congratulations to Tazma Marris –Whiteley who with Chaperone Gail King ( our Chief Training Officer) flew to Bondi Beach to experience what lifesaving is like at the World’s most Iconic and oldest Lifesaving Club.
Experience of a Lifetime
Tazma earned this prize through an incentive program run by Coolum Beach SLSC to recognise and promote youth involvement in the club. Not only did they experience Nippers Bondi style and see the Bondi Lifesavers in action, they were hosted by the club and joined in as volunteers in a number of activities such as the Annual Bondi to Bronte swim where conditions were a little colder than Coolum . 12 swimmers were taken away in ambulances for hypothermia.
